Wilcon Depot, a leading home improvement and construction supply retailer, inaugurated its third branch in Iloilo last April 26.
The newest branch, located in Santa Barbara, is Wilcon’s 53rd retail outlet nationwide. As Iloilo thrives, having many infrastructure projects and development, the province is also seeing rise in real estate opportunities.
Wilcon Depot Sta. Barbara, Iloilo serves as its third branch in the province. Wilcon established its first outlet located in Jaro on December 2017, and the second one, Wilcon Home Essentials Festive Walk Mall, opened June 2018.
Wilcon Depot sees great demand from homeowners and builders in the province, and wanted to provide the need of Ilonggos for high-quality home products from its wide array of product offering ranging from tiles, sanitarywares, plumbing, furniture, home interior, building materials, hardware, electrical, appliances, and other do-it-yourself items.

The grand opening started with a festive motorcade along nearby barangays and towns announcing the official launch of the store.
The opening event continued at the store with a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by Wilcon SEVP-Chief Operating Officer and PRA President Rosemarie Bosch-Ong, together with other Wilcon’s valued suppliers and Iloilo’s local government officials.
“We envision that every Filipino home is built and filled with top-notch home building products from Wilcon. We will stay true to our commitment to every Filipino homeowner and builder to be their constant partner in building, improving, and refining their homes,” Ong said during the grand opening.
The one-stop-shop home retail destination located at Barangay Bolong Este, Santa Barbara, Iloilo has a total sales area of over 12,000 square meters accommodating thousands of strong and reliable local and international brands in the market, arranged in an organized and clutter-free manner inside an air-conditioned store.
By maintaining the uniformity in the interior of their depot store, Wilcon makes its operations efficient to help the customers shop with ease.
Wilcon offers a multitude of services that give customers convenient shopping experience like free parking spaces, reliable delivery service, and tile cutting service, among others.
They also provide a service that allows customers to create their desired 3D layout through a computer software with a cost estimate and product list made possible in Design Hub section inside the store. Valued customers can also avail their Wilcon Loyalty Card for free and enjoy promo exclusives and offerings.
“It is quite humbling how Wilcon Depot has come a long way from our beginnings in Quezon Avenue to our 53rd store here in Santa Barbara, Iloilo. All of your unending patronage and trust brought us to where we are now,” Ong said.
Earlier this January, the giant retailer launched its Wilcon Depot Panacan, Davao branch. Wilcon is set to open seven more stores located in Opol, Cagayan de Oro; San Isidro, Antipolo; Sto. Tomas, Batangas, San Jose del Monte and Calumpit, Bulacan; Igig, Cagayan Valley and Daraga, Albay this year in fulfilling its commitment to have a total of 67 operating stores by 2020 (barring any unexpected external factors).
