Tech experts highlight adoption of innovation in retail stores at the 26th NRCE

As retailers face profound changes in the way they engage with customers in the age of digital transformation, tech experts gave tips how they can adopt technology in their physical stores to engage better with customers at the 26th National Retail Conference and Stores Asia Expo (NRCE) which opened yesterday and on-going until today at the SMX Convention Center, Pasay City.

Retail Technology Evangelist and former Managing Director of the biggest fashion retail brand in the world—Zara-Inditex, Jesus Vega, gave tips on how retailers can surf the digital transformation tsunami in retail.

Vega currently works with the most prestigious companies and institutions in 20 countries, offering his expertise in areas such as business strategy and culture, retail, innovation and creativity, and leadership among others. As a technology evangelist, he has designed models to help professionals and businesses achieve their dreams.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Head of Digital Innovation Jaspal Johl on the other hand shared the importance of reimagining innovation on behalf of the customer.

This afternoon, top global retail and technology influencer and Aptos Vice President of Retail Innovation Nikki Baird will provide real life excellent examples of retailers’ digital strategies in store.
