Philippine Retailers Association (PRA) Vice Chairmen Mr. Lorenzo “Enchong” C. Formoso and Roberto “Bobby” S. Claudio, and Philippine Franchise Association (PFA) Chairman for ASEAN, Mr. Chris Lim, were speakers at the 2019 Franchise, Retail, and Trade Conference (FRTC) on February 15-19, 2019 in Los Angeles, California.
The launching of the first-ever FRTC conference showcased international and domestic franchise and retail speakers who shared their expertise to promote trade in the Philippine American business community. The Philippine delegation led by Formoso, Claudio, and Lim, shared inspirational insights about development, trends, opportunities, and challenges on the retail landscape in the Philippines.
Other speakers at the conference were Mr. Devin Conner, CEO of W.C. Franchise Developers, Mr. Jeff Streader, Managing Director of Go Global Retail, Deputy Mayor Miguel Sangalang from the Office of LA City Mayor Eric Garcetti, Consul General Adelio Cruz of the Philippine Consulate in LA and other known speakers in the private sector led by Ms. Faith Bautista, of the National Diversity Coalition and from the National Asian American Coalition organizations.
The conference has created opportunities for business alliances both in the Philippines and the United States.
The conference was hosted by the Coalition of the Filipino American Chamber of Commerce (COFACC) led by its President, Mr. Gerry Palon.
