The Philippine Retailers Association (PRA), which has been a constant winner at the ANG SUSI Awards once again bagged an award as the Industry Service Awardees for its Retail Executive Circle (RetailRex) Breakfast Forum last November 27, 2019 at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), Pasay City.
The RetailRex aims to provide a venue for retail executives to learn the latest insights from global thought leaders; help them network with one another and engage in a discussion that promotes further development in the retail industry. Likewise, it aims to give the attendees unparalleled views about winning strategies, retail transformation and new ways to connect with consumers.
The program is response to the challenge of absence of a workshop or seminar aimed at retail owners and top-level executives. PRA’s current seminars tackle specific topics such as Visual Merchandising, Marketing, Retail Security, Stores Operations etc., but targeted participants are heads or managers of various departments of the business, or staff who works under that area.
Through the Breakfast Forum, top executives who are often “too busy” to attend seminars or workshops, were provided a venue where they can learn the latest updates on technology and the industry in general, in a short and engaging program that fosters networking among retail stakeholders.
This is the fourth year for PRA to receive an award from the Philippine Council of Associations and Association Executives (PCAEE) ANG SUSI Awards. Last year, PRA Chairman Atty. Paul Santos was named Board Member of the Year, while the National Retail Conference and Stores Asia Expo (NRCE) bagged the Industry Development Award.
The ANG SUSI Awards Night coincides with the two-day 7th Associations Summit, where Atty. Santos also served as one of the panelists in the panel discussion.
ANG SUSI Awards or “Associations nurture National Growth through Social Unity and Sustainability Innovations” is the first and only search for the best associations and association executives in the Philippines which recognizes the association sector’s contributions to national sustainable development.
