McDonald’s Philippines poised for recovery in 2021

Fast food giant Golden Arches Development Corp. or McDonald’s Philippines is optimistic with its recovery and eyes to open at least 30 new stores this year.

McDonald’s in a statement on Friday said it opened 16 new stores last year and ended the year with a 655-store base.

“As we open new stores during these trying times, we are able to generate much needed job opportunities for more Filipinos and demonstrate our outlook of economic recovery in the near future,” Golden Arches Chief Executive Officer Kenneth Yang said in the statement.
