Parisian luxury leather goods brand Longchamp Philippines has launched a boutique store at Rustan’s department store in the Ayala Center Cebu.

It marks Longchamp Philippines’ first store outside metro Manila.

An opening event was attended by Rustan commercial corporation president Donnie Tantoco, Longchamp retail manager for Asia Pacific Romain Chappotteau, and Rustan commercial corporation division manager for shoes, bags and accessories Paolo Lobregat.

Founded by Jean Cassegrain, Longchamp is known for its attention to detail (a single handbag has more than 100 parts with up to 250 steps to assemble it).

Guests at the opening event were entertained with music as well as free-flowing food and drinks while posing for photos with their Longchamp bag of choice.

There was also a preview of the Longchamp autumn collection.

Longchamp has two stores in Manila.
