Golden ABC, the mother company of fashion brands Penshoppe, ForMe, and Regatta, among others has manufactured personal protective equipment (PPEs) for healthcare workers battling the COVID-19 pandemic which put the country’s main island Luzon in quarantine since March 17, 2020.

Aside from donating PPEs, GABC has also donated masks to various hospitals. And while its stores are among that closed due to the quarantine, the company says it continues to pay all employees until the end of the quarantine, without deducting from their vacation and sick leave credits, as announced in their website.

Likewise, the company has worked with their local governments in their community to provide meals around their livelihood, as well as donated to various NGOs providing assistance to those affected by closures of businesses, including Gawad Kalinga and Tanging Yaman Foundation.
