FamilyMart Philippines has opened new flagship store at the New Center in Clark Global City.
The store, termed FamilyMart Generation 2, offers a wider range of food including snacks, fried chicken, pastries, beverages, and daily necessities, together with an enlarged cafe-style dining space.
The Generation 2 model has a bright and airy design and the company says it is aimed at millennials customers.
“We are enhancing our stores so we can give Filipinos a better experience through meals and services that are on par with the world’s best brands. The new FamilyMart store is a testament to our commitment to be their indispensable partner in life,” said Henry Albert Fadullon, chief operating officer of Phoenix Petroleum, which owns the FamilyMart franchise in the Philippines.
The store’s staff wear uniforms by fashion designer Rajo Laurel which portray a young, friendly and clean look.
“I wanted the design to evoke a youthful energy and an invigorated feeling of style and efficiency. The designs were inspired by the classic preppy pieces that I tweaked to make it more fun and functional,” said Laurel.
FamilyMart has 18,000 stores across Asia. In the Philippines, the chain has branches in Makati, Fort Bonifacio, Quezon City, Mandaluyong, Pasig, Pasay, Alabang, Laguna, and Pampanga.
