Intense competition, proliferation of brands, digitalization, acceleration of trends and its products to market, engagement and the experiential encounters that influences your target audience and affects your bottom line – ALL point to CHANGE as a constant in our digitalized world.

Nevertheless, offline or online, there still remains certain fundamentals or constants that never change. And among them is your BRAND, the most important key to the success of your retail strategy. It is the Alpha and the Omegaof every retailer, the entry point that communicates and CONNECTS you to your customers, completes the sale and builds the kind of relationships and experiences you need to bring them back into your retail business, again and again.

Visual Merchandising 360 and its workshops will clarify step by step, the often misunderstood concept and role of what VM is, WHY we need it and HOW VM can keep apace with fast changing and new technologies, lifestyles and trends.

– How VM can keep apace with face changing and new technologies, lifestyles and trends?

Chris Dingcong

Chris Dingcong is the Founder and Creative Director of Springtime Design. He has over 20 years of experience in corporate, retail, and environmental branding including identity system design. In the past 15 years, hris has been responsible for the strategic direction of Springtime Design as brand consultants and design partners that provide solid, relevant brand and retail solutions with major clients such as AIA, Disney Media Distribution, FedEx, Godiva, Adidas and Bank of China HK.

Prior to the founding of Springtime Design, Chris was the principal Designer responsible for creating the complete signage system maps of the Mass Transit Railway Corporation in Hong Kong. He has also held key roles as senior designer and as a creative director with design firms Hong Kong and the UK.

Chris obtained a degree in Bachelor of Fine Arts in Industrial Design from the University of the Philippines and was also a visiting lecturer at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University on multi media technologies for business communications.



Janice Kwan

Janice Kwan is a Co-Founder and Director of Springtime Design Ltd., bringing nearly two decades of business experience in Asia Pacific, Hong Kong and China. Leading Springtime Design’s team on the Accounts and Project side, Janice has been responsible for directing a wide range of projects from corporate identity, brand identity implementation, marketing events and campaigns, in-store communications, visual merchandising guidelines, printed collateral and packaging design,

Janice’ in-depth knowledge and extensive experience in In-store Communications and Visual Merchandising, has seen her create and develop over a hundred retail guidelines for Asia Pacific markets at Springtime. Some of the Retail clients include Adidas, Calvin Klein, Hong Kong Disneyland, Godiva, New Balance, LEE, Reebok, Taylormade and Henry Poole, a custom despoke tailor in Savile Row, London since 1806.

Janice has a BSc (Hons) in Economics from University of London, majoring in Business Management.
