AllDay Supermarket, a member of the Villars’ AllValue Holdings retail group, has successfully launched the country’s first self-checkout counters in its Evia Lifestyle Center location in Alabang.
In a statement, AllDay said this is part of its efforts to stay on the cutting edge of satisfying customer needs as all over the world, leading supermarkets have implemented self-checkout services as a push towards safety, customer independence and efficiency.
AllDay said it has long stayed faithful to the course of always pushing to be at the head of the pack in adopting best practices and technology.
“AllDay takes pride in continuously innovating and pushing to outpace the Philippine landscape of supermarkets,” said AllValue President Camille Villar.
She said that, “In addition to providing a beautiful in-store experience for our customers, our self-service counters are sure to delight, as they are efficient and provide an added layer of safety, especially in this pandemic. We are truly excited to roll this out to our other locations.”
The self-service kiosks are a direct answer to a discerning market’s need for efficiency as well as its desire for additional safety measures, especially in the throes of a worldwide pandemic.
