One of the world’s largest table service diner-style restaurants Denny’s is expanding its Philippine operations by adding 20 more restaurants under the Bistro Group.
The Bistro Group has initially opened six Denny’s branches in the country since becoming a franchisee in 2015. Denny’s announcement on expansion was made after amendment of its existing development agreement with The Bistro Group.
Denny’s President and CEO John Miller said the amendment in the agreement with The Bistro Group will address growth opportunities in the Philippines.
As part of a new growth strategy, Denny’s has provided the Philippines’ franchise group the ability to accelerate growth as Development Agents.
As of June 27, 2018, Denny’s had 1,720 franchised, licensed, and company restaurants around the world. The Bistro Group is known for bringing in other international casual dining restaurants, TGI Fridays, Itallianis, and Baker and Cook, among others.
